Brunotti is a renowned brand in the world of sports and leisure clothing, selling products for various board sports, including windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, stand up paddleboarding, longboarding, and winter sports.

Recently, Brunotti upgraded its existing webshop for direct sales to Shopify 2.0. This upgrade provides Brunotti with more possibilities in building their web pages. Now, sections can be added to every page, allowing unique content to be created for a refreshing experience. Previously, this was only possible on the homepage.

Mobile-first

A significant aspect Brunotti wanted to enhance was the speed of the shop, especially for mobile users. Since more and more people use mobile devices for online shopping, the emphasis was on a 'mobile-first' approach.

While Strix was responsible for ensuring that everything is technically and structurally solid in Shopify, Brunotti itself devoted a lot of time and attention to the content. All pages have been built using new page templates set up by Strix. Furthermore, they have enriched the product data with the help of metafields to facilitate filtering items and adding additional information to the product detail pages. This collaborative approach quickly and efficiently led to the desired outcome.

Colour variations are now displayed separately with unique URLs, ensuring they can be linked to the correct product page. Cross-selling opportunities have been implemented, including upselling and repeated purchases. The blog and landing pages have been optimized, transitioning from PageFly to native Shopify functionality. The menu has been enhanced with an attractive 'Mega Menu' design for better appearance.

Integrations

Various integrations have been implemented in the webshop to further enhance its functionality. In addition to several payment options, integrations with Klaviyo, Channable, and Rebuy have been applied. Klaviyo allows for targeted email marketing, providing customers with personalized offers and relevant information.

Channable ensures smooth product feed optimization and assists in listing products on different sales channels. The integration with Rebuy features a Smart Shopping Cart (AI) flyout, incorporating both upselling and cross-selling functionalities. This allows customers to discover recommended products and enhance their shopping experience.

Improved User Experience

The result of these improvements is a coherent and visually appealing design, ensuring an enhanced user experience across all devices. Brunotti's new webshop now offers both speed and functionality necessary to meet their customers' requirements.
