Webinars, in-person events, publications, awards, and team-building activities – these are just a glimpse of what we’ve been up to in the past six months. In this article, we’ll summarise the most significant events and achievements of the second half of the year.

July

The second half of the year began with the release of an ebook dedicated to the role of marketplaces in the e-commerce industry. Marketplace platforms are becoming an integral part of the evolving online sales landscape. A wide selection of products, competitive prices, and shopping convenience make this model increasingly popular among consumers. In our ebook, we explored the specifics of this sales model and detailed how to create an efficient marketplace that stands out from the competition. The publication serves as a practical guide for companies seeking to leverage the potential of marketplaces.

On 24 July, we organised another webinar as part of the Commerce Space series. This time, the focus was on cross-border operations in the B2B sector. The session was led by Łukasz Woźnica, Head of Business Development at Strix, who shared practical tips on successfully expanding online sales into international markets.

During the event, we discussed topics such as:

  • Key benefits of global expansion for B2B companies,
  • Major trends and common pitfalls to avoid,
  • Selecting target markets, adapting products, and organising logistics,
  • Tools and technologies supporting international sales.

August

Continuing the theme of webinars, August’s Commerce Space spotlighted the automation of credit risk assessment processes in B2B companies. The guest speaker was Piotr Biegun, COO at Algolytics Technologies, who explained how modern technologies support risk management and accelerate financial decision-making.

Key topics covered during the session included:

  • The importance of automation for financial liquidity in B2B companies,

Łukasz Woźnica, Head of Business Development at Strix, highlighted the differences and similarities in digital strategies for B2C and B2B sectors.

November

In November, we participated in the IX Open Eyes Economy Summit in Kraków, a major socio-economic event. This year, the focus was on digitalisation and the role of cross-border operations in developing Poland's B2B sector. During the event, we launched the report "Internet Sales Abroad – Opportunities and Challenges for the B2B Sector," created in collaboration with Open Eyes Economy.

December

December saw the publication of a practical PIM Guide featuring seven key tips for effective product information management. Additionally, in light of new General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requirements effective from 13 December, we prepared a comprehensive guide to help businesses adapt to these legal changes.

To conclude the year, we hosted a Commerce Space webinar reflecting on the key e-commerce events of 2024. Our guests, Konrad Zach (thinkHUB) and Tomasz Wojtas (Open Eyes Economy), discussed:
